Class officers are involved in several activities throughout the school year. They meet on a monthly basis under the guidance of an advisor and their primary function is to raise money for their class. This helps them in defraying the cost of their prom as well as allowing them to leave a generous class gift to the school at graduation and money in the account of the incoming freshman class. These individuals are also actively involved in helping organize and run their prom as well as various Spirit Week activities through Student Council. In addition, involvement in this activity provides them with the educational opportunity to practice their leadership skills, which are essential for young adults in today's society.
