National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes juniors and seniors who exemplify high standards in the areas of character, leadership, scholarship, and service. Students are invited to apply for selection if they achieve a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher. Members are selected by a faculty council who will review the candidates' application. Selected students are formally inducted at a ceremony held in the spring. NHS activities include tutoring, ushering for the fall drama and the spring musical, running events for local senior citizens and running the annual blood drive.
